Ok. We're not crazy people that fight to the death over a place in line at the store. The vast majority of people go through life, day after day and don't even know of anyone hurt or attacked. About 2,500,000 Americans die, every year and the vast majorty of them don't die a violent death.

How many lives would have been saved if teachers and others on campus were allowed CCW?

But I sure hope that shooter was a psycho college kid and not an ex-military man with an extreme case of PTSD from the war. Could you imagine the outcry from the left?

The story I got from a friend's sister in Blacksburg was that the guy went to the dorm and was arguing with his girlfriend. Things got heated, the RA came to shut them up and the guy pulled out a gun and shot them both. Then I guess the guy went to Norris and went crazy, killing the rest of the 32.

I haven't seen anywhere that the shooter's name has been released. All I've heard is that the shooter was on a visa from China.

To me, this entire incident is still a shock to me. Blacksburg is a great place; everyone there is very friendly. It just goes to show you that this can happen anywhere. Tech will pull through, they just need some time.
