WaWa gas prices

So once again, how do the ones in St.Mary's get away with charging the higher prices. Even the Burchmarts are cheaper

I'm sure there's a justification; like, 'the county uses part of the higher prices to fund county road improvement.' :blahblah:

I don't think the county gets anything, taxes go to state and federal.

Well, yeah, you're right. Maybe St. Mary's is paying higher gas prices mandated by Fed and or State, so Calvert and Charles and maybe the State as a whole can have lower prices. The State/Fed is dumping the financial burden on us "country folk" because we 'don't know any better.' "Hey, there are a lot of highly paid people that work on the base, too. They can afford higher gas prices; and those rubes in St. Mary's don't know any better." Merely an assumption. Yeah, I know about assumptions. :blahblah:
:fixed:

What's with WaWa gas prices going up when everywhere else is going down? BurchMart in Hollywood was cheaper last week and I paid under $2 in Glen Burnie last week.

Last Wednesday I was at the WaWa in Prince Frederick. It was $1.61.

Thursday evening, the sign at Sheetz at Rt5/GMR said $1.74, but I got it for $1.66 with my Sheetz card.

Wawa in Brandywine $1.65

Enjoy it while it lasts. Pump prices should start creeping back up soon. It's too soon to tell how far, maybe just a little. But there's been a meaningful move up in futures prices for gas blendstock over the last few weeks. Even if they stabilize where they're at now, pump prices should move up some.

That would be a good thing.....the current situation is wreaking havoc in the petro industry sector, including for a lot of our client base; those that build and operated offshore support vessels.

Yep, .22 cents in the last week... at least locally

My local station is still at its lowest price, a buck seventy-something. I keep meaning to fill up my vehicles and some of my spare gas cans, expecting it to start going back up any day. But I haven't gotten around to it, and it wouldn't really matter that much anyway - saving 20 cents a gallon or whatever.

Yeah, you know the petroleum market has flipped on its head when analysts covering Exxon are saying things like - Exxon will be okay, they've still got considerable downstream assets to carry them through for a while until relative demand picks up.

Ummm... the downstream assets that analysts used to say they should be divesting themselves of?
