I had to travel to Rapid City, SD this past week...gas was $2.60 a gallon for regular.

It was 1.95 on the way to work Monday morning, 2.15 on the way home monday night.

Read an interesting article yesterday on msn, basically, the trends with gas prices historically follow crude oil/barrel prices. Recently, however not so much. Major Oil companies reporting billon dollar net profits?

The MD gas tax is 23.5 cents (or whatever it is now) per gallon, so......

... with the lower cost of gas, people will start driving more and revenue SHOULD go up
