They certainly do have a choice not to put it there.
Strong, conservative women "on the right" aren't controlled by anyone. Strong conservative men on the right don't want to control women, they don't have to control anyone to prove themselves.
So, it's the exact opposite and you know it. It's the LEFT who wants to control women, men and have almost succeeded in destroying the fabric of the family since the start of the so-called "Women's Movement".

EXACTLY. Not that I couldn't have said it better myself, but exactly. One of the concerns RGB had about Roe was that in an instant, it overturned all restrictions on abortion. Had abortion gone the regular route of passing laws by states, we might have arrived at an equilibrium we can all agree on - and that is to largely restrict abortions within say, 12-14 weeks, which is where a lot of industrialized nations have it.
No, they had to go the path of "no, a woman's right to her body is absolute - abortion must be preserved from conception to EVEN AFTER BIRTH". They would allow ZERO restrictions and preserve procedures so barbaric that made even the most ghoulish people squirm.

That's what I'm saying. We all most certainly have choices.
I couldn't believe it when I first heard about it - the idea that people would either allow an undesired child to simply DIE after it is born to taking measures to actively KILL it, even after taking its first breath. I don't remember who was defending it - but the remark was made that a fetus is not a person "until it leaves the HOSPITAL".
I think my jaw hit the floor. This is the world we lived in up until last week (and technically, we still do - there ARE people that ghoulish, who can KILL a baby outright and think it justifed).
