What would you have done different, better than what we've done already, I mean our numbers are lower than countries a 1/10th our size, so I'm curious what you would have done to make it better.

What he did say (and I paraphrase) is most people that get Corona virus have very minimal symptoms, so minor that they don't know they have it, and go to work. Stop lying, it makes you look small, and ignorant.

Well just to point out the stunningly obvious: ELon Musk's comments were nothing more than an opinion as well. What medical training does he have? None.
People running around buying up all the masks in the hardware store is pretty stupid since the actual medical community is telling you they will do no good.
Are there things everyone can do to reduce their potential to contract the virus: absolutely. Again all you need to do is follow the advice of the medical community. Are the vast majority of those who get infected recovering: yes. Do we know what that percentage is with absolute certainty: no. Are there high risk categories: yes, the elderly--and especially the elderly with existing medical issues (how many elderly don't have existing health issues?)
Your point that this entire thing is political and not medical is also rather stupid given the worldwide reaction. You seem to ignore the really basic fact that this is not a US centric problem...but you approach it from only a US centric view (which is typical of the Trump cult)
China and Italy have quarantined rather large swaths of their territory. That is not a political reaction now is it?
BTW...of the known cases & deaths, the mortality rate is 3.5%. That is significantly higher than the flu. BTW....we don't know of everyone who gets the flu either so the point that we don't know everyone who has had Covid19 is rather irrelevant. FIRST, they have to go to a doctor to BE tested.. if they don't think they have anything worse than the flu, or even a cold, why would they?? Kind of the point Trump was trying to make that went over your head.
SECOND, thanks to Obamacare, and the disastrous deductibles, people are less likely to go to a dr to get tested, or get treated for symptoms that display as a cold, or even the flu.
THIRD, what we are doing is working, why change? Countries 1/50th the size of the US have more cases, and more deaths than we do, so why change what we are doing, or not doing??
