What businesses are missing in Southern Maryland

why do people keep saying more restaurants. good lord how many more do we need?
how about;
-ice rink in st marys/so calvert (could be a single sheet of ice in a barn. as long as it's run better than CCH in waldorf it will do well)
-rock climbing gym (like earthtreks in columbia, would do really well around here)
-a better theater (keep it near hollywood and you'll decrease riff raff)
-wegmans (they'll show the other grocery stores what a real store is)
-public access shooting range (already said)
-ferry to eastern shore (already said)
-sports complex with things like racquet ball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, indoor soccer field, rinks for roller and ice hockey, gym, indoor running track.

You can add a dozen restaurants to the area if you want, but that won't change the fact that they'll still be forced to hire from the same workforce as the rest of them so you'll still be biatching about quality and service.

its across from sheetz and chancellors run road in st. marys...




and a rock climbing wall WOULD be great..and a crossfit gym would be neat too..there is a new indoor sports complex on rt4..they have camps and stuff for kids..its just a little far for me personally.

I can tolerate so so service if the food taste good which is what *most* of the restaurants around here are lacking.

Missing Business! Good Grocery Stores!

We really need some place like Wegmans, Harris Teeter, Trader Joes, or Mom's Organic Market! The choices in the major grocery chains for organic and gluten free products are way too limited and WAY too expensive!

Why can't we have one of these? We have money to spend just like everyone else in the metro area dammit!

I don't feel that there is anything missing. I like living with 'less'. If I need something from a store that isn't nearby, it becomes an outing/get outta' town. I don't mind driving up the road occasionally when I need something that I can't get here.
