Cable company other than Metrocrap

And a +1 on the woodworking store, say a woodcraft or rockler

A Home depot within 20 miles of the Lowes, i dread going there on a saturday its soo crowded.

Oh and a good old fashioned bakery, not one of the cheap ass ones that is inside of a grocery store.

I think panera has very good bread, also their is a bakery in Wildwood.

I am so very blessed
I'd love a Trader Joe's.

For any one else wanting one, just go out to their web page and put in a request for them to consider putting one locally. If they get enough requests, they might....just might.....actually place one here.

Here is Trader Joe's Location Request Form: Trader Joe's

Claim Jumper says the same thing. I have been emailing asking them to bring one here in Maryland for 6 years now. Every month I get a letter from their corprate office saying they will try.

Try harder Claim Jumper...try harder :burning: :cds:

the poor dad
I've got 25 acres - will that support a shooting range AND a rock climbing wall? On one side of the wall I will paste the bulls eye for shooting. While dad and mom are shooting, little johnny and Mary can be climbing on the other side of the ROCK wall. I like this business model already! :yahoo:

Having Fun!
I don't feel that there is anything missing. I like living with 'less'. If I need something from a store that isn't nearby, it becomes an outing/get outta' town. I don't mind driving up the road occasionally when I need something that I can't get here.

I have a problem with folks who say they move here or live here because of the "rural atmosphere" or to get away from the "urban" areas and then proceed to advocate bringing all of the "urban" here.

If we don't have it here, drive to it.

If you don't like driving to it, move back to it and leave my "rural" alone.

You would be saying the same thing if you had to drive to PG county for 10 oz bud lites. :killingme

Here's the emergency responder in me coming out. How about a Level 1 Trauma center. That way we don't have to fly everyone to PG General or Shock Trauma in Baltimore. I always thought one could be built somewhere centerally located in So. MD.

I dont want anything else in Calvert. In fact, I wish 50% of the people that have moved here since the 90's would quickly and swiftly move back to where ever they came from.

24 hour authentic mexican joint (albertos, aibertos, robertos, etc..)

I wonder how it would do. SOMD seems to have a taste for dumbed down, toned down, cheap junk mexican food.

I guess between me and you we could keep them in business though!
