Last night was homemade New England clam chowdah.

No idea yet. Niece and I stopped at NN Burgers in Tappahannock on our way to Norfolk. They were REALLY good!

Got 2 steaks marinating, and going to grill some veggies and onions.

Got ground beef (80/20) at the store earlier. Made up some hamburger patties. Trying something different - put a package of chili seasoning in with it and mixed it up. Chili cheese burgers!

Yum! It was really good! I used one envelope of chili seasoning to almost 3 pounds of burger. Also mixed in 2 eggs and some plain bread crumbs as a binder - I like to make my burgers almost like a meatloaf mix.

Had some leftover grilled veggies, put some in tomato sauce, grilled some Italian sweet sausage and threw it all on a bun.

Thank you. We lost our matriarch, but we shared some really good family history together.
