Salt, in Ridge.

The blackened chicken over pasta was good.

I had 2 apps for dinner, the Fire Cracker Shrimp, and the special, Watermelon Feta Salad. Both delicious.

Our 4th trip to this spot, haven't had an off experience yet.

and I'm looking right now for a recipe for that salad......
Just checked their menu, sounds delish. May give it a try this weekend.

If you are interested in a short day trip, there are two crab houses in Cobb Island, Charles County. Captain John’s has a couple of seafood platters. It’s a fun getaway. It can be reached by boat, as well.

And yes, I started on the corn before I took the picture. So good.

Not much, but yesterday...I split a boneless chicken breast, cut it in to strips, and marinated it in teriyaki sauce for 4 hours. Then breaded the strips in a mixture of 2 parts flour 1 part corn starch and a 1/2 part baking powder with various herbs and spices. Fried until GB&D (golden brown and delicious) and served with store bought Asian Pantry Sweet and Sour sauce and homemade carrot slaw. I had previously had a few Vizzy hard seltzers and did not burn the house down! I was very proud of myself.
