What's for dinner?

The lamb roast was rubbed with virgin olive oil and then garnished with freshly chopped garlic and rosemary before it went on the smoker. Mint jelly is a requirement, of course...
Damn now I regret the lunch I made.

I made a small pot of beef barley stew. Enough for lunch and three servings I can put in the freezer to take to work occasionally.

I should looked for a piece of lamb instead.

My wife is Greek. I have never seen mint jelly served by her family with lamb.

When I was dating my first husband his mom had a bunch of people over to dinner and wanted to do something she thought was so elegant - lamb's leg with mint jelly.

:barf:

Everyone picked at it and pushed it around their plate, covered it up with mashed potato and hot roll remnants hoping she wouldn't notice it was going in the trash.

Anyway, I'm having tomato soup for now, maybe a sandwich later.
