What's for dinner?

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....
Pre-packaged wings from Aldi, Parmesan garlic. Actually, pretty good.

For desert, homemade rum cherry vanilla ice cream. Another experiment. Found a bunch of "no machine, no ice" recipes, decided to try one. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, fold in a can of condensed sweetened milk and vanilla. I added cut up dark cherries soaked in rum. Into the freezer for at least 6 hours. Has a few more hours to chill.

Had chicken tenderloins I had to use or lose. Browned them with garlic, oregano, paprika, thyme, salt and pepper. Sliced up some mushrooms and onions, sauteed them added spinach, white wine, chicken broth, sour cream, dijon mustard and sliced a few tomatoes, added the chicken back in and simmered for about 15 minutes. It was delicious!

Chicken for me, too. Last time Monello was in Italy he sent me some roast chicken seasoning. I'm doing roast chicken breast with (real) mashed potatoes and corn.

a Toasted Italiano from Panera Bread. They are really good. Like their Kettle chips, too
