Happy Anniversary TPD!

I did a whole pork tenderloin on the smoker Sunday and we had leftover again last night along with some awesome stuffed ham a good friend of ours recently fixed up.

In case no one has noticed, we love a good meal when we go out - price is no hindrance. Tonight we found a local steakhouse. Mozzarella sticks as an app. Lettuce wedge & Mignon topped with horseradish and Parmesan for me. Veg medley. Ribeye and mashed potatoes for wife. Old fashioned & Malbec to accompany my meal. It was all damn good!

Just sneakin' around....
@Grumpy 's smoked country ribs sounded really good, so I marinated some last night, just put them on a low smoke. Had some Bush's Grillin' Beans, added some pre-cooked bacon to them and threw those on too.

So, I had some negative words about smoking and pellet smokers a while back. I had a very bad dinner in Texas a long time ago, some smoked chicken that tasted like a water-drowned campfire. It was awful, and since that was my first experience with smoked food, I thought that's what it all tasted like. Happy to say I was very wrong, and it took a long time to figure that out. I'm really enjoying the smoked foods I've made so far, and the pellet smoker works out so well.

I get it now....
