We are doing Greek tonight. Gyros, cucumber/tomato salad with tahini dressing, and baba ghanoush with warm pita.

I don't eat baby animals but your smoked lambie looked really good.
"Baby animals"? My folks started raising market lambs after I'd left the farm (we raised prime beef when I was growing up on the farm)...my younger siblings raised and showed them. Nothing "baby" about a finished lamb...takes almost as long to raise and finish them as it does beef. My youngest sister took over that part of the farming operation and continued raising lambs for sale up until probably 10 years ago. Awesome good when raised right.

Had a quart of oysters that needed cooking...so I made a big pot of my oyster stew. It will be lunch and dinner today... ;-)

Pic is of everything ready to be combined in the big pot, which has the potatoes already cooked and simmering in the cream-heavy milk.

Tried a new recipe: One Pot Ground Beef Tortellini Casserole. Easy to make, looked like hell, but absolutely delicious. Beef, tortellini, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, fire-roasted diced tomatoes, beef broth, cream, Italian cheese blend. Topped with more cheese, then broiled for several minutes. Yum!

Just sneakin' around....
Well, that never happened before. Started the grill outside, put some turkey legs on. Huge gust of wind comes thru and blows out the grill.
