Just sneakin' around....
Little late, but this past Sunday I did a spatchcock chicken on the smoker after soaking it in a mild "brine" overnight. It. Was. Freaking Amazing! 10/10 would do again. I would just put the bird on earlier to allow for a longer cook time instead of eating too late on a Sunday.
That's the only way I do a chicken or cornish hen now. :yay: 'Cept I grill it instead of smoke.

Yes, it sadly closed in 1999. I still miss it, especially their strawberry pie. Last I heard the building was finally demolished and a 6 story apartment building was going up.

Just finished prepping sauerbraten.

A few days in the fridge, and with a little luck, it'll turn out almost as good as great-grandma used to make
The sauce/gravy is my favorite part. We had so much left over from when we made Sauerbraten last month, I saved it. I put it on practically everything.
