Even then there are those "WTF was I thinking :banghead:" moments that sneak through during times of weakness we really really really really really really really really regret. :lmao:

I'm sorry about that. :blushing:

If the girl puts out before the 3rd date then you toss her, if she doesn't, she's a keeper.
If a girl puts out what? Puts out the whole thing? Or if the girl gives you a hummer before the third date she's no longer a keeper?

Just curious-what were the trends in Minnesota?
I can't honestly tell you. I have one friend who has put out on the first date multiple times since she got divorced. I have another friend who doesn't believe in even kissing on the first date.

If you ask my mother (also from Minnesota) you need to get to know the person before you can really do much of anything, but then the year I was feeling like a slut because in 6 months I had been with 3 people, my sister in law informed me that the year before she hooked back up with my brother she had been with 11 people.

large portion of society, huh? What society do you live in??

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/19/AR2006121901274.html

It is extremely rare to find someone in today's society who was a virgin until marriage.
Our society does not just consist of twenty-somethings. The vast majority of those over 50 still believe in waiting for marriage. You can ignore them if you like, but they are still part of our society.

It's not like there were only two choices. Waiting for marriage could easily have been a choice. Why exclude the traditional and only list what's popular today?

You are discounting the beliefs of almost all religions as being irrelevant to the discussion.

By the way, my answer was first date. Just because I don't believe in waiting for marriage does not invalidate that opinion. Personally, I don't think you should have to wait until after the first date, but some people are just too uptight.

...no more of this casual screwing. People should not be relaxing during sex. You need to be concerning yourselves with consequences; Will she call me tomorrow? What if I get a rash? Was that a 'no' body reaction or a 'yes'? When was the last time that thing got any sun? Did I take my pill(s)? I wish people would quit with the onions. I told her I prefer natural ones, but, damn. What did he say he had when he was younger that almost always goes away?
What, exactly, is 'Greek'? Why would she use perfume...all over? Why did the doctor give me that look last check up? My clock is ticking! What if I lose pressure? Again? Did she just queef?

Come on, people! Let's get serious about sex!

I love it!!! :killingme

Not so, according to the Washington Post.

But, yes this survey could have included an option for abstinence until marriage. From what I have read on this forum, no one would have chosen it though :lmao:

It was complete ignorance on my part to leave religions and their beliefs out of my poll.

Perhaps that's because I leave religions and religious beliefs out of nearly every part of my every day living and I don't feel it's relative to my social question.

Whatever the reason, I probably should've taken in to account some people still live by the dated belief of waiting until marriage.

Dear karma giver,

By your illogical, irrational "reasoning" maturity can go in reverse. At one point, not all that long ago, I was extremely picky about who I let in my bed. So picky in fact, I went a few years without. Then, I went through Hell. Upon reaching the other side, I reflected on why I deprived myself. I couldn't come up with a logical answer and actually felt that by doing so, I cheated myself out of quite a bit and put myself in a position where it was easy to wind up in the Hell that I did. Of course, I doubt that you could possibly understand this. Until recent events, I didn't see it either.

I'm curious, because I know the general society trends are changing... when is it appropriate to have sex when you're dating someone if you want the dating to turn in to a relationship?
When he's drunk enough?

I make it a point to not sleep with more guys in a year than there are months. But, if I come close and he's worth it... I lie about it.
