Yeah... but it was a bumpy ride. Turns out the roots to two of my wisdom teeth were infected... which was probably causing the frequent migraines.
I woke up in the middle of the procedure and freaked out
The doc calmed me down and I still couldnt feel anything so she proceeded. 
I am still very sore and swollen but I am alive. She only stiched one of them. One of the holes on the bottom is the size of a nickel and is still bleeding 3 days later. It wasnt as bad as I thought though.

Glad to hear it is all over with and you are on the mend.

Happy to hear you survived WR! If it continues to bleed, tell them about it. They can pack some Gel Foam in it for you. Salt Water Rinses for another week will be good too. I've had 3 removed. I'll take those any day over what I just went thru with my knees.

Ice Packs applied to the area, and Motrin work wonders! Maximum swelling occurs up to 3 days after the surgery, so you are as swollen as you're going to get right now. Poor Bebe!! Take care!No. I am in pain and swollen.

You'll know if your socket is dry.How will I know if I have a dry socket... and if I do, will it go away on its own?

It will be very very painful more than it first was. Have you been smoking?

Well, it's the only time I have ever seen tears in my fathers eyes and it's the only time I've seen pain make him puke. Other than that, it's not so bad.
He waited too long and they had to break some of them to get them out.
I've had two out and it's pretty much like you imagine; a fairly strong man with pliers in your mouth, two handed, wrenching back and forth until they come free. Pressure, pressure, pressure...POP.
The worst for me was one of them, he left a shard and, because of the local, I didn't feel it. Turned inside of my cheek to hamburger and it got infected and swelled up like a golf ball was between my cheek and gum. Went back, he snapped the piece out with a typical doctor "Huh. Musta missed that piece..."
