Remember, the NCP is NOT receiving ANY KIND of support to offset those losses too. Although they may not be as great as the CP, at least they are receiving something to help.

No wonder you're begrudging your ex every penny. NCPs never pay half; there's just no way to calculate all that's spent on a child, because their needs are never ending. Go back to court if you think it's so unfair; let an uninvolved party decide. I hope your kid(s) don't sense that you think having them around is a "loss" or that you resent the money you have to pay for them.
I once had a coworker whose lawyer spouse numbered the support checks, counting down till the boy was 18. She didnt tell the kid - but when he got to an age to start making decisions on his own about spending time with his dad, he started turning down the skiing trips to europe and camping in the rockies to stay at home with his mom. Kids can feel that resentment.

Can you summarize? I don't want to read it all. You think that the NCP should not have to pay support during the time with them or you think the NCP should get CS during the time the kids are with them?

Was this meant towards me? I can only assume it was not since I have never mentioned , and would never say that having my children around me is a loss nor would I complain about them.
I can only assume that this was meant for the other posters that have snot-nosed eating machines that relentlessly and regrettably consume every waking moment of their day. I think their posts are still on here.
Allow me:
SG has his kids 6-8 weeks in the summer, every other weekend, and some holidays.
He does not pay child support when he has the kids over the summer.
He thinks his ex-wife, the custodial parent, should be paying *him* during those weeks.

This was answered for me when I re-read a previous post. That was initially my question (both actually) however, it appears that in Maryland (which I initially stated was NOT where my divorce was granted and never specifically requested that Maryland law be factored in... it was just assumed by the responders) the CS payments can be adjusted according to how much time the NCP spends with the child.

My daughter does consume every waking moment of every day, as she should. She is my number one priority, as she should be. I HAVE CUSTODY OF HER, as I SHOULD. Her father rarely sees her, or pays child support. So if I want to joke around and call her a snot nosed little bugger, I can. I have that right.
