You are the one who said you had a baby with a man you weren't married to. You are the person who forgot to teach her daughter responsibility. So kiss my @ss.

Well I was married to her father. She was an adult and made her own decisions. Does mommy still wipe your a@@ for you little girl?

Ask questions. If you feel he is ok, then maybe allow it on your terms.

Ideally, these things should be done BEFORE gettin' busy and squeezing out puppies.

I'm not really sure, but something would tell me that you are likely one of those women who were not responsible enough to have a baby with someone she was married to, or someone who she was in a committed relationship. Call me a douchebag all you want, but I am proud my parents taught me responsibility. I'll take being a married douchebag, over being you any day. I don't have any "baby's daddies" I am looking for support for.

Well, you're wrong and presumptious which proves my point. You are in fact a douchebag. I was married to my oldest's father. I had been with the youngest's father for 3 years, was engaged and had a house. Douche!

That was overly defensive, Pix.

What's wrong with being married and then having kids? Why does that make someone a douche?

Defensive? There's nothing wrong with being married and then having kids, I did it myself and was in a commited relationship with the second. Her first holier than thou post about her parents teaching her values blah, blah, blah is what made her a douche.

Is there no shame in having a baby without having a committed relationship? What are you teaching your children. Wait, sorry about that, you already answered with the comment about the same thing happening with your grand daughter.

I am happy in my home, my parents taught me that having a child out of wedlock is something that would be shameful.

See her first post directed to somdgirl42 with absolutely no provocation made her a douche.

I know we all have moments we come off sounding holier than thou, even if we don't mean to sound like that. Damn if you haven't been doing that a lot lately...the pre-k thread, the "gotta get a job" thread.

Okay, but who cares what some cyberspace person thinks? If it makes them feel good to pretend they're superior to you, let them. Why let those people get under your skin?

What if a woman is tired of waiting for Mr. Right to come along, is gainfully employed, financially stable, and wants a baby? Is that shameful, too?

:killingme The pre-k thread I was giving an opinion on why I didn't send my kids. Being a parent its my job to assess the environment my kids will be in. When you have kids you might understand that. The "gotta get a job thread"? :killingme:killingme

She's not under my skin at all. Because I called her a douche for her original post and told her she was wrong for being presumptious I'm worked up? Hardly. :killingme
