I *think* it is Rod Stewart helping them and they can pick anything from his standards albums. So there should be a really great bunch of songs to choose from. I don't think it is Rod's songs.

Thank GOD bucky is finally gone.
Taylor and catherine--they're going to be the final 2.
Paris or ace needs to go home next week.
When they boot Ace they can send him to my house. He doesn't even need to sing. :hot:

Rod Stewart songs is the theme for next week....should be pretty good.
On one hand I'm glad because I LOVE Rod Stewarts music, but on the other hand, I am very critical of classics being hacked up. Maggie May just isn't the same when sang with a country twang. JMO.

Not a chance that Taylor is going to out-live Chris. I pegged Chris to go to the Final 2 during his audition, and nothing I've seen since has changed my mind.

And I doubt that Catherine is going to outlive Kellie - Unless she starts wearing low cut blouses and miniskirts and effectively appropriating the entire 15-35 male crowd.

I think the final two SHOULD be Chris and Elliot.

I think the final two WILL be Chris and Kellie.

I agree that Taylor won't be making it to the final 2...i just wish he would! I think Elliott will be around a lot longer than Kellie though. And Catherone also--MUCH better than kellie, AND she's hot!!

Again, and to yet again belabor my point... how in the hell are the girls supposed to get a fair shake when it is MALE groups they have to immatate and sing... they are autmoatically making a song "their own" and having to go out on a limb to sing a song traditionally sung and made famious with a male voice/group... for example, they've had Stevie Wonder Week, Barry Manilow Weeek, Queen Week, Kenny Rogers Week, and now Rod Stewart week... I just don't think its fair to the girls on there... I'd like to see 5 or 6 weeks (in fairness) with female bands they are having to replicate... kind of throw some Barbara Streissand in there or something... lets see if Chris can do Barabar Stresssand, etc... that's pretty much the same hurdles as the girls have been continuioussly having to do... Its just not fair :cussing:

Yes Jameo.... I havn't forgot our bet... my :liar: post :liar: :above: :liar: is completely :liar: unrelated :liar:

My hubby just pointed out that the song is "Da Ya think I 'm sexy?"

If they are allowed to do songs from the Great American Songbook I hope someone sings My funny Valentines, or Smile

I still think its unfair that they have hard zero girl bands that the guys need to imitate and try to "make their own" :frown:

I kind of liked the Kevin kid at first, but I really, really would not have wanted to see him try to belt out a Queen song... :roflmao:

You know - I'm thinking back to Wednesday night, when they all did the Queen Medley.

In particular I'm thinking about Chris, Ace, Taylor and Bucky.

And how their medley-solos were about 500% better than their actual performances the night before.

Anyone else get that impression?
