...is the kind of stuff I won't listen to when I am feeling good about my playing. Fortunately, I haven't touched a guitar in a week, so, I can enjoy without wanting to cut my fingers off and feed them to the cats.

...be incredibly humbling. It can also be motivating to get over humps and play better than ever.

Danny reminds me to play with touch. I tend to play too 'hard' which is fine in and of itself, but it is very limiting. Good players, to me, are folks who can play and incorporate different styles and phrasings and not just wail away at warp speed. Battio, Yngwie et al; BORING. Gatton, Zakk, Adkins; players.

Geddy is amazing, singing and pulling off fantastic bass work at the same time!

Chris Squire's solo of Amazing Grace in one of my all time favorite bass solos.

I think Tony Levin is my all around favorite bass/stick players. Always cutting edge and ahead of his time. King Crimson's Discipline is on my top ten list of albums.

And for the guitar fans, he also produced at least one of California Guitar Trios albums. Also incredible musicians.
