Fair point. But there's a difference between stating your personal beliefs and saying that your beliefs are the only correct ones, or saying that the rest of us are wrong or misguided for not sharing your beliefs.slotted said:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Islam have its roots in Moorish history, around the time of the Crusades? A time when the Moors were at the height of world science, art, and philosophy while the Christians authorities were torturing anyone who didn't agree with them? And weren't the Crusades immediately followed by FOUR Inquisitions lead again by Christian authorities?

Church authorities - there is a difference. You can go to church all your life, go to seminary, read the Bible and still just be religious and not be a Christian. Whether you are a disciple of Jesus, a Christian, is in the attitude of your heart.Steve said:
