Smoked chicken thighs

Answer was 'kinda'. Not official cacciatore, just a can of diced 'maters in the pan with a couple of thighs, then poured over sketti.

And glad you caught the Whig thing.

We're spending the night in Kingsville, TX on our way to New Braunfels and they roll up the town on Sunday. We had super good burgers at (ack) Chili's.

Last nights dinner was Kielbasa and Sauerkraut.

The other commuters on the bus were not fans.

That can be done in a crock pot??????? I know how to operate a crock pot. Does that mean I could probably do that?
I dont see why not! My method is to put carrots and quartered redskin potatoes in first, use about 2.5 cups of water to cover those and add 1 cup of AC vinegar. Add the corned beef in next, fat side up, add 1 bottle of Stout beer, sprinkle in pickling seasoning, cook on low about 8 hours. One hour before turning off the crock pot, add the chopped cabbage to it. Thats all there is to it. Comes out tender and flavorful and the best part...the leftovers the next day are even better!!

That's pretty much how I do it too, but no carrots, vinegar or beer. And I wait a bit to put the potatoes in or they get too mushy for me.
