Hopefully they're right and the worst is behind them, but I doubt it. When it comes to water levels, I think the worst will come this evening with the peak of the current tide cycle. They could see the level rise another 6-8 inches.

That said, I don't think Solomon's is getting it as bad as some places in southern St. Mary's, especially on the Chesapeake side. Some coast lines are going to look a little different on Monday when the water recedes.

Hope the damage is minimal, and everyone is safe.
If anyone needs help, holler, we somd people are a helpful bunch.

I love this!

Earlier today a forumite reached out by PM to check on me and offer assistance if needed. (So awesome)

Now, this offer of help to those who may need it.

Quite a few folks at the Port are in there doing what they can to assist others any way they can.

And lastly for me, a service rep from SMO texted me about 30 min ago and said he knew things had to be rough at the Port and he hoped things turned out better than expected. I only spoke to him by phone this past Wednesday to set up an appointment to get a large propane tank at the RV. Super nice of him to check in.

These things help to restore my faith in humanity when I see so much nastyness out there every day.
