The majority of the pier pieces in my yard are from a close by neighbor. She saw some pics the LW posted on FB and she came by and we made arrangements for all of the debris to be removed so she can rebuild her pier.

I'm going to have to rebuild my pier. It was pretty hard to watch it being destroyed. Yesterday there were lots of planks going by, but today they're gone.

Can you still get on St. George's Island by wheeled vehicle?

State Highway barricaded 249 mid afternoon yesterday.

The high tide around 9pm last night set a new tidal record but did not achieve the surge level caused by Isabel.

Can't see our pier yet but I know we'll have some damage.

tide last night peaked about 3 inches below what puts water inside three of my buildings.

Yard is a debris-filled disaster though...
