Why didn't the car and van owners move the vehicles?
Not sure. They live there full time and both have other vehicles. Don't know if they just didn't have somewhere to park them or what.....but they could have taken them up to the Walmart parking lot if nothing else.

I just saw some video posted of Popes Creek ...the restaurant is already flooded and there's lot more to come. :(
Waiting for the noon news. Last night they were showing Annapolis, Georgetown and Old Town, and the sandbagging efforts. Water was already rising. Georgetown was predicted to have a 7.7 foot rise.

The ground is saturated, so if the winds pick up to predicted levels, we could have a lot of trees down too. Hoping they overestimated the wind speeds....

Just saw pics posted of North Beach boardwalk area. It's getting hammered. Damage to the boardwalk. Lower level of the fishing pier is under water.

The flooding is horrific. Cobb Island, piers gone. Goosebay campground, flooded and in some areas it is over a foot - lots of floating debrie. Gilligan, is it JR's video? He might make that public - at least I think many are hoping so. He just did a very good live video on all the damage in that area.

Annapolis is very bad - actually flooded last night and the boats at the marina are able to now go over the piers with the water being either at or above the piers. I hope they are tied well.

It was not JR's video..or at least it was not posted on his page. Another friend of mine posted pics from St. Patrick's Creek...water crazy high there too. I think the farther north you get, the worse it is. I'm counting us lucky now...

In comparison - yeah! Charles County is getting hit hard.

Just rode down to the end of Dare's Beach rd...In all my years here, including hurricanes, I have never seen the bay so angry
