Just sneakin' around....
And the roads, parking lots, Gilligan's yard......I can't imagine how much debris will be out in the waterways after this.

Why didn't the car and van owners move the vehicles? This pic from a friend at 9am at the Port. My rig is the gray RV to the left behind that car in the water (not my car). There is a canal between my place and the house you can see beyond it. View attachment 160359
Not sure. They live there full time and both have other vehicles. Don't know if they just didn't have somewhere to park them or what.....but they could have taken them up to the Walmart parking lot if nothing else. Why didn't the car and van owners move the vehicles?
Linkie?I just saw some video posted of Popes Creek ...the restaurant is already flooded and there's lot more to come.
Waiting for the noon news. Last night they were showing Annapolis, Georgetown and Old Town, and the sandbagging efforts. Water was already rising. Georgetown was predicted to have a 7.7 foot rise.I just saw some video posted of Popes Creek ...the restaurant is already flooded and there's lot more to come.
It was on a FB post that was not shareable. I can link to some of my Thai vacation masseuse videos as an intermission until I get a copy of the Popes Creek flood. k?Linkie?
We're you still up the road in 2003 when Isabel came through?Holy cow! That might be the worst flooding event I've seen down there.
Stay safe everyone!
It was not JR's video..or at least it was not posted on his page. Another friend of mine posted pics from St. Patrick's Creek...water crazy high there too. I think the farther north you get, the worse it is. I'm counting us lucky now...
Been seeing more and more reports of higher tide levels farther up river...Just saw some more pics from the Port. I may be screwed.
Just rode down to the end of Dare's Beach rd...In all my years here, including hurricanes, I have never seen the bay so angryJust saw pics posted of North Beach boardwalk area. It's getting hammered. Damage to the boardwalk. Lower level of the fishing pier is under water.
