It will be working by Saturday. Again, what is your point? I asked you why she was envious/jealous.

Based on her response... You can tell when people are unhappy with their lives. It shows in everything they say and do...

Glad to hear you will have your car fixed soon. Not having a car stinks...

Especially when you have to depend on people like, Cowgirl to pick you up... J/k... That was nice of her.

I remember not having a car my freshmen year of college and it stunk. But we had lots of taxis, so it wasn't too bad.

Personally Pte, I think you're being a sissy. It's not like you were mauled. :duh: Just another trivial thing folks get their knickers in a knot over.

There are soooo many people who obssess over minor infractions on here. Dog turds in their yard, neighbors ugly lawn ornaments, etc etc... Why does everything have to be escalated and overblown?

Life is too short to be bickering with everybody over everything. JMHO

That was nice of her, even if she did forget me. Twice. In a row.

This is the first time since I got my license 5 years ago that I have not had a car. I feel like I'm 15 again, asking people to take me here and there.

Uh huh... It makes it worse b/c you don't live in like downtown DC... At least then you would have bus/taxi/train.... in waldof there is only like one or two taxi services and they take forever...

Didn't miss it.. Did you expect a response?

Of course I expected a response, unless of course you're skeered.

Dog turds in my house don't bother me either, had this discussion (I think on here) about the turd battle that goes on between my friends dog and my dog. Anytime one is at the other's house it is a given that one will lay a turd somewhere. The competition between the two has been heating up lately, as the turd piles are growing larger and larger. I really do think they prepare days ahead of time for their visits. It's not beneath me to pick up another dogs turd. I just do it and give the carpet a good spraying with my hoover pet stain remover (that stuff is AWESOME). It's not the end of the world, and litigation is not in order over a turd. :bubble:

I bet CEO would beat the snot out of his dog if it ever left a turd in his house. He'd probably hire somebody to come over and pick it up then rip out all the carpet in his house.

I just picture him as a pecker head like that.

Then again, CEO's dog is probably perfect, wipes his feet before he comes in the house, never licks his balls or butt, never barks, would never nip anyone.

Of course not, the wife will be cleaning the turd off the bathmat, but then again, I'm sure his kid would never take a dump in the bathtub or listen to loud music because his kid will have morals.
