I'm at a loss for words.

Surely you jest ...
This is some read. I think if I were in that neighborhood I would have more concern about a gun carrying loose cannon around my house and the childcare center than I would a loose dog. The dog problem could have been handled. You have to pound on doors and ring phones off the hook to get it done. Its hard I agree. It takes time and effort. Persistence usually pays off, not trying once then giving up. *btw* I feel strongly that its not the breed but the situation, a shepherd or chow could be just as dangerous*

Now there is a dead dog that was only being a dog by nature. Owners that nobody wants to lay any blame on, but are in fact guilty to a degree. A frightened neighborhood because when all is said and done, the guy will walk and be back to intimidate once again. He feels he is above the law no matter what, still being armed proved that. We can debate it all till the cows come home, but thats the reality of it.

I know right. and I cannot stand a liar and a thief and he has proven over and over that he is both. and now this. I hope they put him away for a bit, just clean up the neighborhood a bit...

I never liked him even before this whole thing. Nothing but a thief and drug addict.

Has anyone questioned the daycare provider about why she allows her neighbor's dog on her property and why she allows her daycare kids to interact with that dog? Or how about why she allowed a daycare child to cry in the rain on the dead dog's grave? Orrrrrrrrrrrrr...why in the hell she allowed there to even be a dog grave on her daycare property.

Or am I just a bitch for being this cynical?

He is already a felon. So he wasn't even suppose to have the gun. I swear if this wasn't a pitbull it would have taken a huge turn. But because it was people don't care As much. You never see the media report good stories about pitbulls because no one would be Interested. You almost all the time hear about when a lab or retriever save the family from a burning fire.

Where did you read that he was a felon? I've gone through his cases and I've yet to see any felony charges. In fact, he has NR charges for hunting w/o a license but nothing about the guns. I don't know the guy and don't really give a #### about Tank or his owner, but if she would have kept him in her damn yard he'd still be alive.

I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to post that over the last couple of days.

Yup. I couldn't take it any longer. At first, I was like 'nah, tread is too serious' so, I guess it's gotten past some sort of psychological barrier...

I just read his case records again and it seems (to me) he's on probation for Theft Under $1000 and that's all. He got a 60 days sentence for that, suspended. He got a 10 day sentence for one of his charges with 9 days suspended. Everything else was NP, the gun charges, DWI's, etc. Who is he giving bj's to? LOL

Blah.. Blah...Blah
Vrai.. The point that pisses me off the most. Witnesses said they dog was trying to get away from him. The dog was crawling on his hind legs onto someone elses's property. So after he shot him he followed him and dragged him back to his property. That is why he is a POS. If Tank was charging him why would he have been shot in the back? The idiot put on Facebook that the dog was going to die and there are other witnesses that stated that they were baiting him with food onto the property. I have control of my dog when we are outside but sometimes accidents happen. This was deliberate. I'm not saying the owner is innocent either. I agree that some of the comments are uncalled for. Personally I am not being hysterical or ridiculous. I think people are sick and tired of people getting away with this BS. If he would have been properly charged and held accountable for his crimes this situation would never had happened.
