It's time to move this to the religion forum.

The list of JW beliefs, I've seen before. Much of it is redundant. The parts about not joining clubs, playing sports, buying Girl Scout cookies, marrying a non-JW... it's all based on the idea that associating with non-JWs could lead to corruption of the "faithful."

This, to me, the the proof that the JW religion is full of holes and they know it. If they had a firm foundation for what they believe in, they wouldn't worry about associating with others because their faith would stand the test. JWs go door to door to find other people who don't have their own religion or else, don't have a firm foundation for the one they claim. However, they travel in pairs when they knock on doors because they are afraid they might come up against someone with a good argument and the desire to share it. The partners are supposed to look out for each other and keep each other from being tempted to listen. The only time I saw a JW by herself, she was knocking on doors, handing out pamphlets and walking away. She wasn't talking to anyone, even if they did open the door.

You don't know squat about JW's.

Wow. If someone would actually want to live under those rules, I guess I can see how they would be foolish enough to refuse a life saving treatment.

Some of the things listed are common to a lot of other cults as well.
