It's his expectations of a relationship with the stripper. He lives in Sacramento, so Reno isn't too far away. That would be a lot cheaper than the way he does it, and it's a sure thing if he goes there. With the strippers he just keeps pouring money at them, and I don't think he gets much return on his investment.
When California had furloughs a few years ago he couldn't give up the strippers and he lost his house.
I could almost see it if it made him happy, but it does not. He is the most miserable, negative person I have ever met, and that is saying a lot.
