Misquoting Jesus

Well, actually it wouldn't be worse for me. I can understand a non-believers hold such misunderstood views of the Bible and God. But for someone to claim they are a believer and espouse themselves to his kind of radical thinking is, at most, bothersome.
:buddies: Well I will point out that the very first post of this thread (not my post) has an instructor from Stanford University explaining that the Christian Bible has many known and visible misconceptions, link HERE,

and I agree with the speaker on the video - though not entirely with my own interpretations.:howdy:

It's good that you don't agree with your own interpretations, they're mostly wrong.

English, Jimmy, is your mother tongue. You should learn it.

So you don't entirely agree with your own interpretations? It's about time JPC... it's about time.............

:buddies: I see that since some others on here do not understand my words then I will clarify it for them.

What I meant was :

I agree with the speaker on the video - though his words are not entirely in agreement with my own interpretations.

Hopefully that is more clear.:howdy:

It's good that you're learning to use the language correctly.

However, how, exactly, do you agree with with the speaker when his words are not in agreement with your "thoughts"?

:buddies: I agree with his insights into the misunderstanding of the scriptures but he does not know (or did not say) as I know that everybody everywhere gets saved.

So I agree with what he says but he does not know as much as I know.:howdy:

And our point is that human wisdom is confounded by the Bible. According to human wisdom, the Bible is full of errors, contradictions, and is pure foolishness. When read with faith in God, it is opened up to understanding which only comes through faith. Without faith, the Bible is impossible to understand. With faith, it is as plain as a blue sky on a clear summer day.

Of course it is.It's the only way this moron has of justifying anything he says or does. With the NEGLECT he thru apon his own son and wife he has to justify it someway,he will burn in hell for ever.:yahoo::lmao:

No Christian subscribes such thinking. Two points:

1) No one knows who goes to hell and who doesn't except God

2) Christians pray that every soul makes it to heaven, with the reality that not all will.

:buddies: The quote above is an excellant example of what "orthodoxy" really means.

It is having the one person / "Christian" telling the other person what a "Christian" is to "think" and thus what they are to believe in accord with the group Orthodoxy.

That other poster "G1" is celebrating (happy :yahoo:) about another sinner burning in the Hell of the Christian faith - and why not?

Does not the Christians want justice? and righteousness? and is not "Hell" the work of thy God?

It looks to me as if "G1" is displaying the virtue of Orthodox Christianity and "PsyOps" is trying to push it under cover to hide the real implications of believing in the sinfilled Hell fire.

Orthodoxy  You really need to learn how that word is used.

Wait a minute. One person (a Christian; that’d be me) telling another person (you, which you did not identify yourself as a Christian) what a Christian is to think? Well, who else would tell a non-Christian how a Christian thinks but a Christian? Man alive, are you even aware??????????

That other poster "G1" is celebrating (happy ) about another sinner burning in the Hell of the Christian faith - and why not?

As for peoples’ souls, Christians want God’s will. God wants justice and righteousness.

It looks to me as if "G1" is displaying the virtue of Orthodox Christianity and "PsyOps" is trying to push it under cover to hide the real implications of believing in the sinfilled Hell fire.

I don’t even know if G1 is a Christian or not. I’m only stating his point is not representative of my views. I desire for no one to burn in hell. Not even you JPC.

:diva: Sure I am aware.

Teaching others about Christianity is what many of us do, but we must let the other people to think for themselves and believe as they themselves think to be right.

When some here preach the Hell message and I show that hell is only the common grave and not a place of God torturing prisoners then the other people can think for themselves as to whether they believe the fear mongers or if they believe my interpretation or if they believe some other perspective as many do.

That telling the sheep that they must believe the Bible is absolute and that all religious knowledge can only be defined in the Christian Orthodox way is just abusing the sheep.

So I tell anyone and everyone to think for themselves.

Mr. Ferarri

This brings up a good point. How do you feel about those that worship Satan?
 I have looked into Satanism and you will find this odd but the Satan groups are still based on the religious (Christian, Jewish, Islamic) Orthodox beliefs about Satan.

There are many different style groups in the Satanism sphere link HERE, and every one is based on the Orthodox mis-conception of Satan.

The Christian, Jewish and Islamic religions teach an incorrect perception of Satan that is not true from the Bible or the Quran and so the Satanist do not worship the real Satan but only the false Orthodox Satan.

It is the same cenerio in that Christianity does not teach the real Christ message and Satanist are confused too.

They both believe the garbage of Hell with fire and red Satan with pichfork and that Satan is the embodyment of evil while it is mankind that has that title.

So Satanism is just a rebellion against the Orthodox religion of Christianity, Judaism and Islam so I sympathize big time with that aspect of the Satanist.

In the Bible the Apostle Paul tell others to give the sinners over to "Satan" in order to save the person's spirit on Judgement Day when everyone gets saved, link HERE, therefore Satan is doing a rightful work in sevitude of the Apostles.

The Quran says that Satan is not the equal of God and never claimed to be - as in "good verses bad" is not the equation.

And the Bible says that Satan is transformed into an angel of light link HERE but the Satan churches are never seen as that way.

Therefore the Satan churches are not worshiping the true Satan of the Bible but only the false Orthodox version of Satan and that is a pitiful sad reality for our mixed up world.

And therefore the Satanist, and the witches groups too, have much that I like about them.
