Perhaps it was His way of testing the genuine friendship and loyalty of mankind when given a Free-Will to choose.

It's like you can know who your friends are - not by forcing them to be your friends but by seeing how well they stick by you when you're not around. Of course God knew that mankind would fail because of our human tendency to defy authority! It is your free-will to obey your boss or teacher 100% without defying their authority in any way. As with any act of disobedience there is some kind of consequence.

However, by providing His Son as our Lord and Saviour it should help one comprehend that God's Grace is still loving enough to overlook the disobedience of our lives and that we can receive Forgiveness and Reconciliation back with God not by our merit but by what He did for us.

You can have that right now just for the asking - that is if you are really serious about wanting to know the Truth about God.

And if he himself was actually Jesus, like some claim. Then why didn't he write a rule book then?

It seems to me all books of God favor the nationality of its origin.
It also seems odd that they all favor men over women.

The Rule Book is known as The Ten Commandments.

Yeshua stated that the greatest of the commandments was to love God with all your heart and soul and the second greatest was to love your neighbor (fellow man). Thus, by keeping these two commandments you would be able to fulfill (be obedient) to all the laws. For by loving God you would respect His Sovereign rule and guidance in your life and by loving fellow man, you would not murder, hate, covet, steal, cheat, nor commit unlawful acts against one another in any way.

Problem with humanity is that we aren't able to abide by even those Two Commandments. And if you think you have, think about your own mother, father, brothers and sisters. Most people have family quarrels and disagreements within their own immediate family - and we think we can bring peace to this world - without God???

And I might add that you give that overt claim from the Bible as if it is some known factual "truth" but give not even one verse to back it up.
