:killingme You are too much.

So if William F. Macey's next movie is "Vild Shvine" and while he is riding his R1200GS he looks at the camera and says "Ja, I love to smoke de pole" that defacto means you will be looking for a knob to Bob? "Heh pardon the pun."

:roflmao: I'm not sure what point you are trying to make, but that right there is funny none the less.

:lmao:

Saw the official Harley ceiling fan when All American opened, had a chrome headlight, $500 :killingme

i like the chrome bar, outdoor BBQ grill, and pool table. Don't remember the price, but I do remember saying that I know there is a line of schmucks out there hoping to get their hands on those "limited Edition" items. :banghead:

How many miles a year does he ride it?

Obviously not many. But, it is tagged for the purpose of riding and it runs great. :yay:

Actually, he probably rides the '17 more than he does his early 90's Ultra. He's more into antique tractors now.

Well, with 3200 miles on it it hasn't been broken in yet!! :lmao:

Make all the fun you want. Any idea what that thing is worth? That's a pretty awesome piece of history. Wow.

Got some safety glasses from the Snap On guy the other day. They had Harley ones and regular ones. ONLY difference was a little HD logo and $4.

We don't know how many miles it has on it. :bawl: The odometer/speedometer is broken and he can't find one to replace it.

However, I'm quite sure my grandfather rode it often before he and grandma got married. He liked racing the freight train in Laurel with it (and he won).

Same glasses I get. non HD version. I like the yellow lenses for riding at night. BIG difference. But yea, Snap-ons glasses make pretty good riding glasses.

Oh I agree, if it starts doesn't even have to be in decent shape.. $$$$$$.

I'd love to get a classic bike to putter around with.. of course I say that until I'm 100 miles from home and the 'classic' decides to not run anymore..

It's been in the family since new. We have only one picture of it though with my grandfather on it. My dad totally restored it himself after it sat in the barn for over 60 years. It was nothing but rust when he started.

They pizz me off too. you would think they would let the profit from HD playing cards, HD tampons and HD coaster sets offset the cost of accessories.

 That's where the ol' saying comes from: "better have a good pair of walking shoes with ya".
