Exactly. I think the plans for that area is to revamp the whole shopping center.

The office block across from the book store appears empty, the front is removed from the old rite aid block.
Haha. I just read in my hometown newspaper that Cumberland is getting a Royal Farms. Site preparation has already started. 
Hasn't the Book Store been taken over by a contractor? BofA closed years ago.

Then they built the Holiday Inn in Solomons.
I'm sure those wouldnt' have been much of an issue if they didn't have millions in stolen goods to make up for.

It was "the only" place to stay when we traveled into Pax on business. Long before I ever came down here, my dad would always talk about the Belvedere and the cow on the roof. It was years before I saw it for myself.
Had only a couple decent dinner choices...Belvedere, The Roost, and Lenny's. Or that cheap steak house that was on the corner of 4 and 235...did have a great buffet and salad bar though.
It was still there when I moved down here. I would always be amazed at the size of the hippos that ate there.
I went in there once and never went back. It was disgustingly dirty. Same with the old IHop.
I've started using this doc. He's the only one in the area that was taking on new patients.
So they finally took down the eyesore next to the carwash they're building, although I really hope that the entrance and exit are around the corner and not directly on 235.
And SOMETHING at least is happening with that strip across from the Moose Lodge on Mervell Dean. I still wonder how they're going to fit three stores in there.
