re-read my last reply..... and you will see

now... if it happens here everyone has the numbers to call

Read my post 75.
We did have the number, TriCounty was called.
This was some time ago but reguardless, it did not matter.
They did take care of it after the damage was done.

If it happens again, I will shoot the dog. End of discussion.

usually if someone makes a post about something as tragic like this and they are out of the area/state to a "local forum" - they make a mention to where this even happened................. no one would have know any different if there had not been a question asked about the type of tree.

And all of you would have known no different either.

The only difference it makes as to where it happened, is that in TX, she can shoot the owner as well as the dog.

dogs attacked by other animal

(and yes ... I have had to treat a little girl that was attacked by her dog that had been hit by a car. She was tore up bad.)

You work at a vet AND treated a human with a DOG bite?
Isnt that a job for a doctor at the ER and a Bite Report filed?

Just who are you??????

Hummmm....

And about this thread...I support any owner to defend their property..even if that means killing dogs, or wildlife.

And there is typcal justice and then there is "Texas Justice"...

They deal with problems there in a different and more direct way then we do here.
All it takes is the price of one bullet...and the problem is solved.

I hope Sonsie protects what is hers in the Texan Way......:yay:

then why post it here if they are in Texas

Freakin' dummy. Shut up if ya don't know the regulars here and don't go off half cocked WITH ALL THE CAPS and stupid comments highlighted. I lived in Waldorf long enough to start liking this board, and I'm stayin' so you can just freakin' suck my left tit ok? :eyebrow:

I don't have an axe to grind against pitbulls, I'd never own one with their track record but hey, it takes all kinds right? I would have wrote this post no matter what kind of dog killed nanny and the kids, we were attached to them. People write posts here about their eye twitches for gawds sake. Anyway, enough with you DAMCAM you are a waste of time. Be gone damn fool.

Thanks for the comments most of the rest of you. I was pretty upset after we buried the babies and drug the nannies to the back field to dig deep holes in a softer soil. Earlier today an elderly neighbor waved my vehicle down and told me he lost some goats and a calf too. He thought it was the same dog, he'd seen it wandering around the area, but couldn't prove it. Word travels fast even out here in rural Texas, I bet quite a few people out here are ready to shoot that dog on sight now. These goats are some pretty big critters by the way, I'd guess the nannies killed at about 175+ lbs. I've helped load and move a few and they are strong enough to yank you off your feet if you're not careful. I would have been much less upset had it been a hungry predator, the mass killing seemed so much worse since it was just some dog's "fun".

I'm thinking the owner of that dog is gonna be shelling out some big $$$ because these goats aren't cheap. The owner's boys show these goats and I know he paid a lot for his breeding stock. That dog is probably gonna cost the guy a grand at least. I suspect he'll kill it himself rather than risk it getting caught killing livestock again. I doubt he wants to earn the emnity of all his neighbors either. The police officer that showed up about rolled his eyes at me when I told him we didn't have any guns. I felt like I should apologize! A far cry from the typical cop response from around the city I imagine.

I get my dander up occasionally, I tend to be rather salty when annoyed so it's best if I keep a lid on my temper. I worry about Vrai banning me for my liberal, and thinly disguised, use of the "c" word.

Go away child..I think there are some animal cages that need to be cleaned.

Might not advertise that you work at a vet where a child get bitten by a dog and you treat it.
You take photos of the bite just incase the police needed them?

You know what? I assumed she meant children too, but as soon as I read the post, I said to myself, "Oh whew, she meant goats." And I got over it. Wow. What a concept.

Oh my GAWD! :jameo: My catchy wittle title got your big ol' pink panties in a wad. BFD dumb@ss. Who is talking about dogs getting hit? Have you been drinking already? Why do stupid tw@ts like you post around here so often lately? I swear half the noobs here are both aggressive and retarded. It's a disturbing combination of the pathetic and humorous, like angry bumbling Special Olympians.
