How's puppy doing now? I wish I lived closer, I still have Karo syrup in the cupboard from Christmas baking. I hope he'll take some liquids soon.

He drank just a little bit on his own this morning and ate a few bites of puppy chow. He won't have anything to do with anything else. I sure hope he keeps improving. He is so thin now. He wasn't much to begin with. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs yesterday.

He is better. IcIt brought him some smelly fattening food. He is eating and drinking but still sounds like hell, and probably will for a while but at least he's a bit perkier.

I imagine there were a lot of contributing factors. He was severely underweight to begin with, then he got neutered. His weak little body was put through a whole lot of stress in a short amount of time.

I've been looking forword to the postings on the two pups, and was wondering how they are both doing? Is MaMa picking up weight? Is Patton doing better today? I've been thinking of them.

Momma is doing great and is spoiled rotten. Her favorite place in the whole wide world is the couch. Patton is doing much better. I steamed up the bathroom and sat in there with him for about an hour, then my daughter relieved me and she sat in there with him for another hour. I think that helped immensely. He is breathing much better and his appetite is picking up.

You are awesome. That is such GOOD NEWS! I really enjoy reading about their progress. You've had a LOT on your plate with adopting two dogs, going to work, and then sitting in the steamy bathroom with Patton. Don't forget to do your hair today!! Have a fun weekend with your new babies.
