Just saw the news about Boxy. I am so happy you were able to place him in a great home so close to you. You are amazing for keeping him so long and going thru everything you had to do for him and rescuing the chickens while all this was going on. Hooray for you!! THis beers on me for a job well done. Thanks for the dedication.

I send Catt pics every so often of Boxy and his new friend. This guy has done amazing things with Boxy as far as befriending him, getting him used to being touched ALL over, and watching his reaction to back off when needed, then he advances again - just amazing how he is able to read Boxy's reactions so well.
I am thrilled that Boxy was able to stick around long enough so we could find this guy for him. Boxy didn't like water from the hose, but he does much better now with being hosed/bathed. It is my expectation that by the time Boxy needs his shots updated, this guy should be able to hold Boxy by himself for the process ... we'll see how it goes.

He gets that "look" when he is either uncertain or feeling less dominant .. believe me, we like that LOOK better than the dominant one LOL

What's great is he is amazing friendly and gets so excited to meet people. I have to be careful because most guys end up being head-butted in the groin in all the excitement of the tail-wagging and jumping up and down LOL
Those guys that know him approach to pet him with 1 hand covering their groin LOL

We have to work at getting him to eat - he just doesn't seem particularly interested in food. His metabolism is high, so he needs to eat more than he does, I'd prefer he look a little fatter.
He loves to run all over the place chasing balls, and sticks. The inflated ball always rolled down the hill into he woods, so we found one that was deflated that didn't roll away from him so much LOL

He is such a good boy and he is so excited to see everyone when they come back from anywhere - could be 20 minutes you were on the other side of the fence, and he will wag his tail excitedly to see you again.

MINE goes crazy over it... and he has one of the kids from the neighbors soccer ball that is deflated.. and chewed up.. he carries around ... (it was left in my front yard... so it was given to the dogs)
