I would say that most smokers are PRETTY RELAXED people, with friends and family as I am a smoker I could care less what they do or dont do its not going to change what I do. Any one can get around this ban by turning there establishment into a private club with a membership fee of 1.00 for the year and there can be smoking!! You just got to work the system and cut a few corners but hey the Elks Lodge, American Legion , and others you know have been doing this for years dated back to bootlegging days and this ban will not apply to them so I am thinking there will be a younger crowd and many more members to places like this which will unify Americans HOPEFULLY and hey you can even bring your own Liquior, NOW TAHTS A DEAL.

NO IT DOESNT!!! Sorry do your home work!!

The previous attempted smoking ban excluded private clubs from their fascist edicts.

This one explicity includes private clubs within their fascist edicts.

If you know otherwise, please provide a link, but I think the language of the ban was pretty clear.

:lmao:

Under a compromise reached last week, the ban would take effect in February. The bill would not exempt private clubs or other member organizations, as was allowed in the first version of the bill the Senate had passed.

I voted for the ban before I voted against it!!!

Just blame George Bush and everyone will feel better, I'm going out for a smoke break... :coffee:

Just wondering...
will this include places like ADF Bingo where food is sold? They have a smoking area and nonsmoking area. Nonsmoking area smells like smoke, smoking area has zero visibility after game 5.
