But it wasn't big in the news until recently. For them, having the abuse being shown all over the world, it gave them "credebility". Plus it is just come out the magnitude of the problem which we, even in the US, wasn't aware of fully until recently.
Also explain this to me, how does the humiliation of several detainees by some out of hand guards make credible the beheading of an American civilian that has nothing to do with our military or the detainees? It is people like you that have made these heinous acts credible in the terrorist’s eyes and thanks to you (and your buying into that crap) it will continue. Way to go.
