Im not worried about top speed. I always seem to ride 5 under when im on bikes so speed isnt an issue.

Completely different animals
A 600cc sport bike has more HP, higher top speed and more acceleration than a 2000cc cruiser

Thats ok Bill but I was looking for something not so ugly lol.
Thanks for looking though.
Saw this bike on Wednesday in silver. Not a bad looking set of wheels, this picture really doesn't do it justice.
I'll attest to that! I have really good power/weight ration but a sport bike will blow my saddlebags off!
True but the sport bike doesn't have a built in coffee maker and a microwave.
I'd be lost without my Barcalounger..... good thing I have a hitch so I can tow the 60" plasma screen with me...
I thought that was your GPS
Yea EVERYONE keeps commenting on the Vstorm but I really dont like them. I sat on one at Atlantic Cycle and promptly got off. I didnt like the seat, the rider position or anything.
That 02 500 you posted doesnt look too bad Bill. Not bad prices either. Its just that most of those Ninjas look too sqared to me. Dont know yet. Im a Suzuki kinda guy so im not sure if im set on a Kawi yet.
Yea I know this thread is about Vstroms and all but other people on other boards are saying the same thing.
Wow Bill I looked at those older GS500s and I like them even better without fairings. Not as boxy as the Kawis either.
I ride a V Strom
When I first got it, I thought it was so ugly I'd have to tie a pork chop on the forks just to get the dog to pee on the tire.
I can't see that from the saddle.
It got better looking when I got caught in a snow storm and rode past 2 car wrecks on St. Andrews Church road.
It became a little attractive when I rode the Blue Ridge Parkway and never scraped a peg.
After I rode across that river in TN, it was almost pretty.
It's become quite lovely when I check the mileage on a gas receipt and find I'm getting high 40's for mpg.
