3. What if the Texas Guard splits, and former comrades end up facing each other across that red line?

Currently the ominous illegal immigrant’s identity is hotly disputed. Nobody’s officially admitting it is known terrorist Samadov, and some sources claim he is still free as a jailbird in the Middle East and anyway is way too old now to make any trouble. Uh-huh. But all that is besides the point. Even if the threatening Middle-Eastern border-jumper isn’t Samadov, he easily could be, and that is the point. Regardless, the story keenly illustrated the worst implications of the border problem.

I told you 2024 would be a doozie! The good news about the developing Texas situation can be neatly summarized by the old saying: something that can’t continue, won’t. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, for example, has made it clear that the Biden administration is “not attempting to decouple from China.” At the same time, China now leads the world as the largest exporter of cars partially thanks to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) dominating electric vehicle (EV) supply chains.

The Immigration Crisis Shows Just How Much Contempt America’s Establishment Has For Democracy​

The morning of the Iowa caucuses, The New York Times published a typically oblivious op-ed headlined “The Responsibility of Republican Voters,” essentially commanding them not to vote for Donald Trump. In reality, such a sentiment coming from the Times is tantamount to encouraging Republicans to support Trump, both as a result of its own sins and as a synecdoche for America’s utterly reviled journalistic establishment. Naturally, a guy the Times insists is “distinguished from the rest of the Republican candidates primarily by his contempt for the rule of law” went on to romp to victory later that day.

Anyway, speaking of contempt for the rule of law, just over a week after the Iowa caucuses, we launched headlong into what could be the biggest legitimacy crisis the federal government has faced since — well, perhaps comparing it to the Civil War overstates things. But to quote Biden, Texas’ standoff with the federal government over illegal immigration is “a big f-cking deal.” There’s a very solid argument that Texas is well within its rights to seize control of its border and enforce the laws Biden won’t, but please tell us more about which candidate is distinguished “primarily by his contempt for the rule of law.”

At a minimum, Biden’s complete disregard for border enforcement is a far bigger threat to America’s security and constitutional order than anything that happened on Trump’s watch, Jan. 6 included, an event the media and Democrats have been bleating about for three years. Yet how much discussion have you seen in The New York Times lately about Biden’s corrupt responsibility for America’s immigration disaster?

New York made kids go to class remotely so it could use their school as an immigrant shelter. (Though if you try to point out how outrageous this is, fact-checkers will tell you that any discussion of kicking taxpayers’ kids out of school for illegal immigrants “needs context,” and by “context,” they mean selective framing to mitigate the issue for the Democrats enabling this.) You have to provide ID, take off your belt and shoes, have your bags examined, and submit to a body scan to fly, but the government is flying planeloads of immigrants all over the country without any identification or due diligence to determine whether they are terrorists. Oh, and Boston is also literally housing illegal immigrants in Logan Airport, so no security threat there, I’m sure.

Biden Admin Spent Whopping $20 Billion On Refugee Resettlement In Just Two Years​

The Biden administration has poured billions of taxpayer dollars into the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) since October 2022, according to a new report from Open the Books.

The Biden administration spent $8.925 billion in fiscal year 2022 and $10.928 billion in fiscal year 2023 on the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at ORR to accommodate, transport, and provide migrants with various other services like medical care and loans, according to the report, which was released Tuesday. In recent months, HHS has faced scrutiny for ORR’s alleged mishandling of cases of unaccompanied migrant children, some of whom have been released to poorly vetted sponsors where they are used for child labor, according to The New York Times.

Illegal immigration at the southern border has hit record highs under the Biden administration with federal authorities recording more than 2.2 million encounters of migrants crossing illegally in fiscal year 2022 and more than 2 million in fiscal year 2023, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics.

The agency has lost contact with 85,000 unaccompanied migrant children, according to the NYT. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has spent more than $5.5 billion separately in fiscal years 2022 and 2023 on unaccompanied migrant children, according to the Open the Books report.

Did Biden Order Army's The Lake City Ammunition Plant To Cancel Civilian Sales?​

Democrats Push Biden Administration to Shut Down Ammunition Plant Supposedly to Prevent Mass Shootings​

Democrat attorneys general are calling for an investigation into the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in an effort to shut down the facility. The Missouri-based plant, which is the largest producer of small arms ammunition in the U.S., has become one of the latest targets of the anti-gunner crowd in their quest to keep as many Americans disarmed as possible.

The Democrats’ request, which is ostensibly intended to curb the availability of “military-grade rounds” in the commercial market, is supposed to be a step towards decreasing the prevalence of gun violence. However, like their other schemes, a closer look shows that this is just another way to make it harder for responsible Americans to possess firearms.

All 28 Republican attorneys general responded with a letter sent to the Biden administration countering claims that Democrats made in their initial overture to the White House. The letter affirms that the Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment “guarantees a personal right to each law-abiding citizen to ‘keep and bear arms.’”

But Americans cannot exercise this constitutionally protected right to use their firearms without access to ammunition. If your office does what the Democrat attorneys general ask, then ammunition prices will increase, and ammunition availability will decrease. And those restrictions on ammunition will not resolve any of the ills discussed by our colleagues. Those attorneys general wrote to you casting aspersions and requesting an investigation of Lake City because they allege that the plant’s commercial ammunition was used in mass shootings. Perhaps those States should focus more on prosecuting crime to stop mass shootings—rather than trying to stop lawful Americans’ use of guns and ammunition. Their tactic is an overt attempt to punish Americans’ exercise of their Second Amendment rights.

In the letter, the Republican officials point out that shutting down the plant would substantially impact the availability of ammunition and raise prices on ammo. “If your office does what the Democrat attorneys general ask, then ammunition prices will increase, and ammunition availability will decrease,” the letter reads.

All in all, this is nothing more than an effort to impede the exercise of Second Amendment rights under the guise of promoting safety. The notion that shutting down this plant would somehow cut down on mass shootings is absurd. There are plenty of ammunition manufacturers to choose from. Yes, I know they would like to shut down those plants as well, but currently, they do not have the political capital to do so. But this is certainly a step in that direction. Democrat attorneys general have shown they are even willing to collude with a foreign government to sue American firearm manufacturers.

On Monday, a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit ruled that the country of Mexico can proceed with a lawsuit naming several U.S.-based gun manufacturers, blaming them for supplying firearms used in cartel violence. In the suit, Mexico claims that the gun manufacturers were aware that their products were ending up in the hands of the cartels but did nothing to stop it.

Mexico filed the lawsuit in August 2021, alleging the defendants – among them brands including Smith & Wesson, Colt and Glock – “design, market, distribute and sell guns in ways” that arm Mexican drug cartels, contributing significantly to a rise in gun violence within Mexico, despite strong regulations.
The complaint was dismissed by a US district court in September 2022, which ruled Mexico’s claims “were barred by the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act,” according to the ruling published Monday by the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like 1776​

To be clear, Navarro’s sentencing is completely illegitimate and political. Navarro gave the tyrants the middle finger by defying their subpoena, but the tyrants gave him two middle fingers by imprisoning him in return. More importantly, the tyrants followed through in order to intimidate other brave Americans who might also stand up to tyranny.

Threats, condescension, politically motivated retaliation, and other arrogant abuses of power have become all too common in the Biden regime. We have a federal government that routinely flaunts a power that is neither prescribed nor awarded in our Constitution. In short, our federal government is lawless — which the Founding Fathers feared.

How many times has Biden dared the American people to challenge the federal Government and threatened to use military jets on American citizens? “If you want to fight against a country,” Biden most recently threatened, “you need an F-15. You need something a little more than a gun.”

While the American citizen has been indoctrinated to view himself or herself as subservient to the federal Government, our Constitution clearly insists that it is our elected officials and Government, who are to be subservient to “We the People.” In fact, it is our Government which should fear the citizenry, rather than the other way around.

After decades of unconstitutional encroachment on the Rights of both American citizens and individual states, this true Constitutional crisis has now come to a head at the Texas border; where the Biden administration is actively sabotaging the state of Texas’ effort to protect its own border from an invasion sanctioned and facilitated by the federal government.

The escalating conflict between Texas Governor Abbott and President Biden is a manifestation and microcosm of a larger war brewing between a lawless and unconstitutional federal government and the American people. The Biden regime, in particular, has been completely unaccountable. But their arrogance and underestimation of the will of the American people will hopefully lead to their downfall.

With the aid of a symbiotic and propagandistic media machine, this Administration and the federal government at large commit crimes with impunity. Governor Abbott’s battle is the American people’s battle. His stance against the Biden Administration is cheered by tens of millions of Americans — and thus far a coalition of 24 Republican Governors who wish, and even demand, that the federal government be put in its place.

The Economy Isn’t Growing, Gov’t Is Just Adding Debt​

The media and Biden administration are trying to fool you with propaganda about economic growth. The reality is that the economy is in crisis and the only “growth” is government spending — that is, government debt.

Did the fourth quarter Gross Domestic Product (GDP) 2023 report actually show wonderful economic growth? Not when put in context. You see, all that “growth” is really government spending (taxpayer) money it doesn’t have. Every $1 of GDP growth cost taxpayers $1.69 in new debt. To observe that sort of “growth” isn’t sustainable is a massive understatement.

The above information and much more was shared by Brownstone Institute President Jeffrey A. Tucker in a commentary piece for The Epoch Times. He cited the Census Bureau to note that real wages are down, and added that unemployment is considered low but that could be deceptive. “It does not account for labor dropouts or adjust for multiple job holders or otherwise reveal anything about labor participation or remuneration,” Tucker explained.

As for GDP, it is not a measure of the standard of living or even economic growth. It is a measure of output—stuff going on as measured in dollar terms, whether necessary, productive, society serving, efficient, or not at all. The aggregate was concocted at a time when economists believed that spending was itself productive, whether it flowed from a sustainable capital base or government itself. Anything moving and churning was regarded as good.

Joe Biden’s Parole Pipeline Freed 745K Foreign Nationals into U.S. in 2023 — Exceeding 2 Months of American Births​

This week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released illegal immigration figures for December 2023. The data shows that more than 745,000 foreign nationals were released into the United States interior through Biden’s parole pipeline in 2023.

This is a foreign population larger than the populations of Nashville, Tennessee; Denver, Colorado; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Washington, DC; or Boston, Massachusetts.

Biden’s parole pipeline, which makes up just a portion of his Catch and Release network at the southern border, includes the migrant mobile app known as “CBP One” and so-called “humanitarian parole.”

From January through December 2023, nearly 420,000 foreign nationals were released into the United States interior through the migrant mobile app. The app allows users in Mexico to schedule appointments at the border to be released into the country.

During the same period, close to 330,000 foreign nationals were released into the United States interior with humanitarian parole.

It’s not the censure of the senator from Oklahoma that got my attention but the proposed border legislation he is supporting. Schumer is proposing closing the border after 5000 illegals cross per day. If they can “close” it under this proposed new law, why can’t they close it now?!


— Mandatory detention of all single adults.

— Mandatory “shut down” of border once average daily migrant encounters hits 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 number includes 1,400 CBP One app entries at ports of entry per day, and roughly 3,600 illegal crossings per day.

— How is that enforced? Once the 5,000 threshold is hit, a new authority is codified into law that requires Border Patrol to immediately remove illegal immigrants they catch without processing. They would not get to request asylum, they would immediately be removed. This includes removals back to Mexico, and deportations to home countries. This would be a *massive* change from current policy, which is that once an illegal immigrant reaches US soil, they must be processed via Title 8 and allowed to claim asylum. Under this new authority – they are not processed, and they are mandatorily immediately removed once the “shut down” threshold is reached.

— This “shut down” also takes effect is there are 8,500 migrant encounters in a single day.

— The “shut down” would not lift the next day. It wouldn’t lift until daily encounters are reduced to under 75% of the 5,000 threshold for at least two weeks. This means the “shut down” authority would not lift until two weeks of an average of less than 3,750 migrant encounters per day.

— Some family units will be released with ATD (Alternatives to Detention, ankle monitors etc


— New removal authority to immediately remove all migrants who do not have valid asylum claims, which will be determined within 6 months rather than the years long process we have right now.

— Any migrant caught trying to cross twice during “shut down” phase would be banned from entering US for one year.

— US will need agreement with Mexico for MX to take back non-Mexican illegal immigrants. This hasn’t been ironed out yet

Biden in 2020 Criticized Trump for Soldiers Being Injured in Iraq by Iran​

As the then-former vice president was campaigning against Trump in January 2020, he criticized Trump for U.S. troops in Iraq suffering traumatic brain injuries caused by an Iranian missile attack and dismissing the injuries as minor.

“‘No, they just have headaches,'” Biden said, paraphrasing Trump before adding unintelligibly, “Basically what my words not his basic ones just grow up. They’re just all headaches.”

However, under Biden, as of Christmas Day 2023, there were at least 66 U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria who had been injured by Iran-backed attacks, including at least one critically injured and at least 19 who were diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries. The Pentagon has dismissed those injuries as minor.

Now — three American troops are dead under Biden’s watch, with more than two dozen injured. U.S. Central Command has not clarified the extent of those injuries.

Senate Deal Requires DHS to Continue Funneling Border Crossers into U.S.​

New details of the Senate deal continue coming to light, the latest revealing more reasons why President Joe Biden has thrown his support behind the deal.

Sources who spoke to CBS News said the deal includes multiple loopholes that will not only allow Biden’s DHS to continue funneling tens of thousands of border crossers into the U.S. interior every week but require the agency to do so.

Though the deal claims to give Biden more border control authority, the deal prevents the White House from using the authority for an extended period of time. Border crossers would also be allowed to seek exemptions to get into the U.S. even when the authority is used.

Biden already has expansive power over immigration with multiple federal statutes and Supreme Court rulings making clear that the president has sweeping authority to control the inflow of foreign nationals to the U.S.

CBS News reported:

The power, which Mr. Biden referred to as an authority to “shut down the border” on Friday, would be mandated after average daily migrant crossings hit 5,000 over seven days, or 8,500 in a single day. It could also be activated on a discretionary basis after average daily crossings surpass 4,000 in a week. There would also be a limit on the number of days each year the president could invoke the authority. [Emphasis added]
When the authority is invoked, migrants who cross into the U.S. illegally would not be allowed to ask for asylum, and would face swift deportation to Mexico or their home country. Exceptions would be made for those who pass screenings for other, more difficult-to-obtain forms of humanitarian refuge, including protection under the United Nations Convention Against Torture. [Emphasis added]

While the proposal negotiated by the White House and lawmakers would penalize those who enter the U.S. illegally, it would preserve asylum at official ports of entry. In fact, it would require U.S. border officials to continue processing more than 1,400 asylum-seekers daily at these official border crossings when the “shutdown” authority is invoked, sources told CBS News. In practice, the deal ensures that Biden’s DHS can continue funneling tens of thousands of border crossers into American communities every week and get them expedited work permits to hold American jobs.

Just Say No To Biden’s Border ‘Deal’​

After spending three years denying that there is a border crisis, President Joe Biden wants the public to believe that the reason more than 6 million immigrants have flooded over the southern border on his watch is because of Republican intransigence.

Now he’s taking this up a notch. He claims he desperately wants to “shut down the border,” but Republicans are standing in the way … for political gain. This is a lie for the history books.

Just how dumb does Biden think the public is?

On his first day in office, Biden started signing executive orders rescinding policies that President Donald Trump put in place that had dramatically cut the number of illegals trying to sneak into the country. Biden stopped construction of the wall. He hamstrung border agents. Those actions – none of which required congressional action – had exactly the effect everyone expected. Illegal crossings exploded. Iranian IRGC Commanders Go Into Hiding As Biden Admin Continues To Leak Details Of Alleged Retaliatory Strikes: Reports​

Politico said that the “disclosure” by the Biden administration, which was mocked online by policy experts, “could lower the chance of the U.S. getting pulled into a direct confrontation with Iran.”

“Full control is irrelevant,” said policy expert Norman Roule. “Tehran has the capacity to choke off weapons to militias and highly likely the ability to halt action by major groups that rely upon Tehran for significant financial and political support.”

Politico also reported that the Biden administration blames Israel for Iranian-backed terrorist groups attacking U.S. forces, saying that if Israel stopped trying to kill Hamas terrorists inside Gaza who carried out the October 7 terrorist attack, “there would at least be a tactical pause in the region by all Iran-backed groups.”

Secretary of State Lloyd Austin was asked on Thursday about IRGC commanders fleeing back to Iran to avoid being killed by U.S. forces.

“Has there been too much telegraphing, or is the point not to kill any Iranian commanders?” a reporter asked.

“In terms of telegraphing about strikes and whether or not people leave or would have left, you know, I won’t speculate on any of that,” Austin said. “I will just tell you that, you know, we will have a multi-tiered response, and again, we have the ability to respond in a number of times depending on what the situation is.”
