Can God be wrong?

Yes = You have the Free Will to change the outcome of the decision that God knew i'd make
No = You cant have Free Will, otherwise God's knowledge of my decision would be wrong

No = You cant have Free Will, otherwise God's knowledge of my decision would be wrong

Not pertinent to the discussion

God cannot be wrong about the decision that you make. He did not make the decision for you.

plus he's saying things about a video, which is something that has already happened. Gods will is something that is going to happen.

The two examples are not similar and the movie example is wrong.
No, you just don't seem to understand the example.

God is the Alpha and the Omega. He always is, always was, always will be. Time is a meaningless issue for Him, as it is just one facet of the universe which He created. You can choose your actions, but He's already seen what you chose, like watching the movie of it to us (my basic, childlike understanding - the phrase I bet you take most from this post ).

Have you ever heard about the Book of Life? It is God's Record of all people who will ever live. Your name is there now. However, according to Revelation, Chapter 20, a person's name can be blotted out of the Book of Life when, during their lifetime, they chose to reject the only plan of Salvation offered to mankind through Christ's Atoning Blood. Do you or do you not want you, your son and family to have eternal life with God?

Well actually, I'm really getting the vibe that god is a total dick as he laid down all his laws 2k years ago and left them to a morally corrupt church and society that will use his "words" (note the complete lack of confirmation) to do whatever they please.

also, since he created 'everything' he created satan, which was a pretty dickish move.

so to answer your question, no.

eternal life with an ####### does not sound good.

Your changing the discussion, stay on track.

No one stated God made the decision, except for you. God forsaw your decision correct? Could you prove God's forseeing wrong, by making a different decision than what he already saw?

No. God has the Divine Wisdom and Knowledge to know when you make a certain decision and knows if you will end up changing your mind. Why do you change your mind? Hopefully for a better outcome.

DING DING theres the God works in Mysterious ways :lmao:
Who's talking about God working in mysterious ways? I'm saying he's not human, and that the physical laws of nature that apply to us don't apply to him. I'm not saying he causes hurricanes to make people appreciate their life and family, or has someone get fired from a job forcing them to take that big leap into the career they really wanted and end up happier than they ever thought - that's the "God works in mysterious ways" concept.

Take that up with Him, Xaquin. He's open to hearing your complaints.

What you're saying is that there is no way to escape the fate that god knows before you are born.

notice the lack of a question mark at the end of my sentence.

If he knew i was turning right, and i turned left, he was wrong
Well, then He would have known you were turning left

You keep changing the parameters to fit your "argument". You can only turn one way, you can't turn both. Whichever way you actually, finally chose, that's the way He knew you'd go. But, the choice was always yours, he just knew it.

The lack of question mark implies a closed mind, not willing to learn.

What he's saying is that you decide your fate, and God knows what you've decided.

Actually, what the Bible states is that you can escape the fate that Satan wants you to have. It's just that God already knows which people will reject His Plan of Salvation through Christ through their free-will decision.

You keep leaving Satan out of the equation. You can choose to serve God or Satan. Choose Life or Death. Choose Good or Evil.

What do you choose?

You're putting the human/natural constraints of time on God. You can make the choice, but that doesn't mean it wasn't foreseen what choice YOU made.

I leave 'satan' out because unless he is god, he has no bearing on you.

it's god who is all knowing and powerful right?

it's gods foreknowledge that you can't derail right?

God knows your fate, because he forsaw it eons ago, before you made the decision.

Fate means its predetermined

Predetermined is the opposite of free will

You also know what your fate is right now. No need to wait until Judgment day!

God did not make the decision for you. You sign your own fate when you hedge your bet on whether to believe that Christ is The Son of God and Saviour of mankind or choose to reject God's Plan of Salvation through Christ.

God wants everyone to accept His Son as personal Saviour.
Not everyone chooses to. God did not make the decision for them.

You cannot leave Satan out of the equation when it is Satan that is battlling God over ownership of your soul:

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
1 Peter 5:6-9 (New International Version)
