Social butterfly!

Pretty sure I have a copy of the book laying around. Unless I leant it to someone and didn't get it back. Let me know...

Social butterfly? I wish. No, just busy with 2 jobs and too many other commitments. :jameo:

I would love to read it. Let me know if you find it and I will swing by and pick it up.

Beauty and the Beast :nerd: 4.5/5

Belle was totally MY princess growing up. I used to know the whole movie by heart. This was a pretty awesome recreation. It wasn't just a re-make either, which I'd consider to be "most of the original with our own twist to it, etc". This was THE original in live-action format. There were so many fun little details I remember from the Disney animated version. Details in the architecture of the castle, characters' lines, etc. It was very well done. And now I'm going to go re-watch the original.

Couldn't make it past the first 10 - 15 minutes..

That's what I anticipated when we at down. Actually, I was gnashing my teeth when we walked in.

That said, because virtually every female kid in my life danced or sang or acted or did all three, the story line got me almost right away.

That movie was horrible.

Damn... well, I got it on sale on iTunes, I'll try to make it through and see how it goes...

Patch Adams - 4/5 (Been so long since I've seen the movie I forgot 95% of it) - great story, little sad... Enjoyed the humanitarian side of it.

The Shack 5/5

Spoiler alert: Shaquille O'Neal is not in it.

:yay:

Had read the book a couple of years ago.

Be sure to go see The Shack. EXCELLENT!!!

Thanks for the recommendations. It was most excellent and I definitely rate it a solid 5 stars - and 5 hankies as I sure shed a few tears watching it as I connected very deeply to the message. Beautifully done. :yay: I borrowed the book from the library the next day and have started reading it, too.

I don't go to the movies, so anything I watch is old and on Netflix or Amazon. I just watched, and really enjoyed Paul Rudd (he's still a Baldwin) in Fundamentals of Caring. Cute.

War Dogs. 4 out of 5 stars. Very entertaining. A bit far-fetched at times so just suspend your disbelief and enjoy the ride.

Watched "Sing" with the kids.

Meh. Although there's a lot of 70's, 80's and early 90's music, I didn't feel like there was much of a story.
2.5 out of 4 stars.
