I wouldn't count your chickens, most "ultimatums" are hollow threats because the issuers talk big but are really chicken shiat. Not many people have the nads to say fine and leave a financially secure position so they just sit there. What is this chic going to do if he says "Fine, I will have my crap out by weeks end" ? Fight him for child support? Scrape by on what she can get? Move back in with mommy and daddy?

She is a DA for getting to this point to begin with.

I don't know, it just sounds like an unhealthy sistuation all around. How many kids do they have and how old are they? I feel bad for them. Your friends need to realize it's not about them so much anymore. At least not about their needs foremast. They need to grow up or separate. Bottom line. Chances are the kids will grow up to be just like them and hate them for it.
