I might want some more jerky too, one of the office workers here ate a good deal of mine last year and I am trying to get her to purchase her own. Ah what the hey, make it 2 jerky for sure.

OK, from the responses I have already, it DOES look like I have enough intrest in the jerky & jims to have them prepared. I will try to get the butcher to make up 1/2 the jerky as HOT and 1/2 as regular (what I got last year), but not sure he can (I think he can though).

Just got off the phone with the butcher. He is on his way RIGHT NOW to pick up the 4 deer for us. I am having the 2 biggest deer turned into jerky & slim jims. Does ANYBODY want the 2 small deer? I am talking to him again in 20 minutes.

UPDATE:

The biggest deer is NOT 150 lbs, it's 180!!! Has about 2" of body fat already, that deer was ready for a COLD winter.

He is taking the meat from the 2 biggest deer and taking 1/2 and making slim jims (no hot available) and splitting the rest in 1/2 and making a batch each of hot jerky and regular jerky. So 1/2 = SJ, 1/4 = HJ, 1/4 = RJ. Will let you know how much $ and how much available once I get it. For now let's go with last year's prices $15.00 per package of SJ & $18.00 per package of Jerky. PM me for address for pre-payment. Any differences in price will be refunded/collected upon delivery.

We are going to have quite a bit of slim jims and jerky I think.

It's Tom Molino, he's the guy who's "deer butchered" sign you see on the right hand side of 381 as you go down the hill towards the PG/Charles county line, driving north.
