It's clean out the refrigerator day. So far I've made banana bread, a copycat recipe of WaWa's chicken noodle soup, chicken and dumplings, shrimp and grits with bacon, and chili.
I ate a bunch of kettle chips earlier and a bacon dog burrito. I have good sandwich fixins - roast chicken, pastrami, corned beef... - so that's probably what I'll end up having for dinner.
Last night was baked flounder fillets seasoned with lemon pepper and a bit of Old Bay.
Sides were Lemon & ginger carrots and baby potatoes with butter & parsley.
Was meatball subs. I had to remind her that I don't like them ( unless meatballs are fresh and homemade). She said she'll make breakfast. Knowing her time management issues, it will probably be closer to breakfast time before I eat.
